After working on The No Tomorrow series, I knew I wanted to return to epic fantasy. However, I learned so much during the process of completing a series. When I came back to The Leyumin Divided Saga, I realized that Mother of Rebellion was missing some key elements. The story is staying the same, but I am deepening the world building and adding a few scenes while building a proper story bible to enable consistency in subsequent books.
This Royal Road is close to my heart. It’s from the point-of-view of only one character, which has been challenging for me as an author in the best ways. The series was also born out of all that I learned from my adventure into the post-apocalyptic space. This fast-paced portal fantasy combines the best of everything I’ve written. And the best part? It will be available on Royal Road for free. If enough able readers support me on Patreon, it will stay free for readers who need it.

Originally titled The Great White Dragon, to be titled Call Me Ahab, this project was in response to a prompt: “dragons in space.” It’s a tragedy that explores the question: What happened to Captain Ahab in Moby Dick to make him so obsessed with killing the whale? Except the world and Ahab are reimagined into a space fantasy setting, and instead of a whale, a great white dragon becomes his mortal enemy. Until this short novel is completed, it will be available on Royal Road, and when it is done, it will be released wherever books are sold.
